Plan a Visit
Here is exactly what will happen.
Walking into a church for the first time takes nerve. So there are no surprises below — this is the whole morning, start to finish.
Sunday morning
Minute by minute.
Before 11:00
Pull in and park anywhere
We are at 75 Pine Street, just off Dearborn. Park wherever there is room — nothing is reserved. Come in the main doors and somebody will say hello.
11:00
Find a seat, any seat
Sit wherever you like; the back row is perfectly acceptable. If you would rather nobody make a fuss, just say so and they won't.
11:05
Kids City takes the children
Children K4 through 6th grade are dismissed to Kids City for their own service. You will be told exactly where to pick them up afterwards.
11:10 – 12:15
Singing, then preaching
A few hymns and songs, prayer, an offering you are under no obligation to take part in, and then a message from the King James Bible.
After
Stay as long as you want
People stand around and talk for a good while. Slip out quietly if you would rather — either is completely normal here.
Come as you are
Some of us wear a tie and some of us come straight from the beach. Nobody will look you over at the door — we are just glad you came.
An open Bible
Every service we open the King James Bible together. You will hear it read, sung, and preached, and you will be able to follow along.
Your kids are wanted here
Kids City runs during the 11:00 service and Kids J.A.M. on Wednesday nights, so children hear the same truth on their own level.
No pressure, no spotlight
We will not single you out, put you on the spot, or ask you for anything. Slip in, sit anywhere, and see for yourself.
Questions people actually ask
Before you come.
- What should I wear?
- Whatever you own. Some men wear a suit, some wear a polo, and plenty of people come straight from the beach. Nobody is checking.
- How long is the service?
- About an hour and fifteen minutes on Sunday morning. The evening service at 6:00 runs a bit shorter.
- Will I be singled out?
- No. We will not ask visitors to stand, raise a hand, or fill out anything. If you want to talk to a pastor, find him after — he will be glad you did.
- What about my kids?
- Kids City runs during the 11:00 service for K4 through 6th grade, with the same Bible truth on their level. Little ones are welcome in the service too — nobody minds the noise.
- Is there anything for teenagers?
- FUSION meets Wednesday nights at 6:30 in the gymnasium for 7th through 12th grade, and there is a teen Connection Group Sunday mornings at 10:00.
- Do I have to give?
- No. The offering is for the church family. Visitors are our guests, and we mean that.
Optional, but nice
Tell us you're coming.
Not required — you can absolutely just turn up. But if you send this, somebody will be watching for you at the door.
