Fifth Sunday Fellowship
Sunday after the morning service · no evening service
On fifth Sundays we eat together instead of holding an evening service. Bring something to share and stay a while — visitors never need to bring anything.

Independent Baptist · Englewood, Florida · Since 1969
Come worship the Lord in Spirit and truth. Whether you have been in church your whole life or have not walked into one in years, there is a seat for you on Pine Street this Sunday.
75 Pine St., Englewood, FL 34223Welcome to Calvary
In February 1969, sixteen people gathered at the Lemon Bay Women's Club for a revival meeting. Fifty-plus years later we are still on Pine Street, still preaching the same book, and still saving you a seat.
Calvary is an independent Baptist church — fundamental in doctrine, Biblical in our worldview, conservative in our attitude, traditional in our worship, and Christlike in our manner. We are not accountable to a denominational headquarters; we answer to the Word of God and to one another.
You will find retirees who have wintered here for decades sitting next to young families who moved down last year, and a gymnasium full of teenagers on Wednesday nights. It is a real church, with real people, in a beach town that we love.

First time here?
Nobody should have to guess. Here is exactly what happens when you walk through the doors on Pine Street.
Some of us wear a tie and some of us come straight from the beach. Nobody will look you over at the door — we are just glad you came.
Every service we open the King James Bible together. You will hear it read, sung, and preached, and you will be able to follow along.
Kids City runs during the 11:00 service and Kids J.A.M. on Wednesday nights, so children hear the same truth on their own level.
We will not single you out, put you on the spot, or ask you for anything. Slip in, sit anywhere, and see for yourself.

Missions
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” — Mark 16:15
Every one of our missionaries is partially supported by Calvary through Faith Promise giving. Once a year, at our missions conference, this church family decides again what it will send to the regions beyond — and then keeps that promise all year.
